The featured cricket video for the last few weeks has been this fantastic reverse slog sweep switch hitty type thingummy by Kevin Pietersen. It’s a pretty impressive shot but made even more so by the fact that the bowler is none other than Muttiah Muralitharan. You know, that chap who chucks the ball has taken more Test wickets than anyone else.
This audacious shot by KP was from the 2nd Test at Edgbaston in 2006. Enjoy.
The featured video for last week was this amazing catch by Paul Collingwood against Australia in the 2005 ODI series. What makes it even better is the fact that the dismissed batsman is the wobbly buttocked Matthew Hayden.
Everyone hates Matthew Hayden. Even Matthew Hayden hates Matthew Hayden. Fat arsed git.
Anyway, enough of that. Sit back and enjoy Paul Collingwood doing what he does best. Being ginger. Visiting titty bars. Taking outstanding catches.
I’ve set up a new area on the site to put together all of the previous video posts on Flintoffs Ashes as well as the featured videos from the sidebar. Since I don’t have an original thought in my head, I’ve called the section cricket videos.
The first featured video for the new look site was, naturally, one involving Andrew Flintoff. In this one we see the big fella taking on both Dwayne Bravo and Tino Best from the West Indies. The infamous sledge that led to Tino Best getting himself out. ‘Mind the windows, Tino’. Classic.
Ryan Hairybottom managed to turn the Test match on its head as he snagged himself a hat-trick and, in the process, has made me look like a numpty. The bastard.
It’s all set up for an interesting last day. If England can bowl out New Zealand in the first hour will they then have a dart and try to win this match? Dunno but I’ll be sitting in front of the telly to find out so expect various drunken updates over the course of the next few hours…
So first he loses his trousers and then he loses the one day captaincy. Coincedance? I don’t think so…There’s a conspiracy occurring and no mistake. The ECB are looking for a scapegoat for the disastrous 2007 World Cup.
