I’ve been busy working on a movie all this week so not caught any of the cricket which is why I’ve not posted anything this week. I’m getting the feeling that I might be a jinx on the England team. Now that I’m not watching they keep on winning!
I’m going to be writing a letter to the ECB this week saying that I’m prepared to never watch another England game again if they’ll put me on the payroll. £50k a year, a fancy sports car and a nice job title like Cricket Development Officer would do the trick.

England really are a funny side. A team capable of such extreme performances in the past 2 years, oh the highs and the lows. Watching them play over the last 16 years has always been entertaining - I still think this is the best side we have had in that time.
Mike, keep up with the site, Cricket is still the best sport on the planet, Freddy is still a hero and may yet win us the world cup along with Colly and fit and firing Vaughany and KP. Fingers crossed…..
(Not sure about that motor mouth Nixon though - but to be fair its good to have some characters in the game still!)

Yeah the jury is out on Nixon as far as I’m concerned too but it is great to watch a winning England team for once!
I’ll be back on top of the site in a couple of weeks when I’ve finished working on the movie. The long days (getting up at 4am!!) are doing me in at the moment but I’ll be back on the case of the World Cup
