Tea on day two. A much better session for England. Despite my somewhat downbeat previous post, I was much happier with the pre lunch session than I suggested. You could just start to see things were starting to happen for the England bowlers. After lunch we finally managed to get rid of Ponting and had the better of the session. On a personal level I was glad we got him out before he got 200. Hopefully it’ll niggle him.

Dunno if I can survive another two hours. Caffeine wearing off and I don’t want to boil the kettle in the kitchen in case I wake people up…Will try moving it into the lounge and see if that works. If not I might nip down to the cricket club over the weekend and see if I can borrow the tea urn for the next few weeks…
