Two Weeks To Go
Just 14 days until the start of the Ashes series. I’ve stocked up with Red Bull and Pro Plus so I should be able to watch most of the matches. Well unless someone offers me a job between now and Nov 23 but since no bugger has for the last few months it’s pretty unlikely!
A couple of the walking wounded are on the comeback trail. Ashley Giles is set to play in the warm up matches against New South Wales and South Australia and Michael Vaughan might be fit enough to play in a couple of the Tests which is great news. It seems that he’s targetting the Third Test for his comeback according to BBC Sport.
The war of words is still chuntering on in the background, Freddie has a new tattoo and Banger has only gone and got blond highlights. Maybe he has gone mad after all.
Fourteen days. Two weeks. I can’t wait, me.

Lucky git. I wonder if I can somehow get myself fired in the next 2 weeks, then get reinstated after Christmas so I can watch the whole series uninterrupted. Either that or I’m going to be asleep at my desk after staying up all night to watch the cricket.

Not sure about the lucky bit! Still, as it’s getting closer to the start of the series the jobhunting is becoming less frenetic
